We welcome you to Sunday School beginning at 9:30 a.m. Next Sunday's lesson is "An Argument Against Corruption" with the lesson coming from Micah 3:1-3, 9-12, 6:6-8. The key verse is "He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?" (MIcah 6:8) KJV

 

LESSON AIMS:

1. Summarize the condition of Judean leadership of the late eighth century BC.

2. Explain why the requirements of Micah 6:8 were especially necessary for leaders of the day.

3. write one prayer pe day in the week ahead for different church leaders--that the standards of Micah 6:8 would be theirs as well.
